Officials said the dump truck was traveling eastbound on I-4 near the St. Johns River bridge when it crossed through the guardrail and hit at least four vehicles. One person was killed and there may be other injuries.
About 50 to 60 gallons of fuel spilled onto the roadway.
According to Florida Highway Patrol Sgt. Kim Montes, the roadway is expected to be closed for a long time, but officials are working to get motorists trapped on I-4 off and onto alternate routes. Also see: Woman shoots, kills niece after wedding
